Personal use · Read-only email
Hermes — Morph personal email assistant
A private assistant for its sole owner to understand selected email and prepare reply text, only when asked.
What the assistant does
On its owner’s explicit request, Hermes/Morph can search and retrieve Gmail messages, answer questions about relevant email, summarize content, and prepare reply text in private chat. It is not a public email service or a sign-up product.
The Gmail connection requests only gmail.readonly. This permission can allow broad mailbox reading; selecting relevant messages remains a request-by-request operating rule, not a narrower Google authorization.
Read-only boundaries
The Gmail helper does not send email, create Gmail drafts, change labels, mark messages read, modify messages, or delete messages. Reply text is prepared in chat, not saved as a Gmail draft. There is no background mailbox monitoring or Calendar, Drive, or Contacts access through this connection.
How email content is processed
Selected message content, metadata, prompts, and relevant context are sent to OpenAI to generate requested chat answers, summaries, or reply text. This is not local-only processing. Content and derived text may remain in private chat history, caches, reports, and provider records.
Read the privacy notice for data use, retention, revocation, and manual cleanup information.
Contact and account control
Contact the project owner using the support email shown on the application’s Google OAuth consent screen.
Revoke access through Google Account third-party connections. Revocation does not erase previously retained copies; see revocation and cleanup.
